“…Always Owner-Operated.”

April 26, 2013 by Leave a comment

I recently spent a total of over EIGHT hours on the phone and chat with the cable company to resolve a minor billing issue. Even though I was armed with a ton of account numbers, cable representative phone extension numbers, trouble ticket numbers, and chat transcripts, I still got passed around. One conversation was two and a half hours long to the Philippines.

When you get carpet cleaning in the Charlotte area with Cline Services, you deal directly with me, Chip Cline, the owner. You are treated as a valued customer, not a number. A person.

(And most customers pay less to have all the carpet in their house cleaned than a month's cable package!)

Thanks, Chip.

50% OFF!

April 25, 2013 by Leave a comment

How often do you believe an ad that offers a huge discount, or “order within the next ten minutes,” or my favorite- selling “below cost.” (Go to the bank and tell them you want to borrow money to start a business that sells things for less than you pay for them and watch how fast they point you to the door.)

At Cline Services we don’t insult your intelligence or make you hold a coupon or call before a certain time. I, Chip Cline, as owner-operator, will work with you to give you the most for your money when it comes to scheduling carpet cleaning in the Charlotte area and upholstery cleaning also.

Feel free to call me directly at 704-621-6208 to get an up-front, reliable quote. In a minute or two we’ll set an appointment and you’ll be on your way to having freshly cleaned carpeting and/or upholstery. Thanks! Chip

The sheet test

March 14, 2013 by Leave a comment

How often do you change the sheets on your bed? Your kids’ beds? The dog's bed? On a regular basis, right?

Well everyone shares the sofa, the recliner, the favorite “TV watching chair.” And often after coming home from work, after coming in from yard play or the soccer game, or while enjoying (oops!) a favorite snack or beverage.

Drape a white sheet over your sofa for a week or two and you’ll ask yourself, “When DID I have this cleaned last?”

You know, if I’m already cleaning the carpet in your house, I can offer you a great price to add an upholstered piece or two. We’re already there, the equipment is set up, it’s just a matter of attaching a different tool to the powerful, truck-mounted steam cleaner.

Remember, our carpet cleaning services the greater Charlotte NC area, and I, as the owner, am on every job.

Quality over quantity

March 3, 2013 by Leave a comment

When you hear a phrase like “artisan cheese,” “micro-brewery,” “small batch anything,” “designer” or “gourmet,” the first thing that comes to mind is QUALITY. (And OK maybe price, but more on that in a moment.)

So why would you settle for a “fast food type” of carpet cleaner to take care of something as expensive and important as your carpeting? As owner-operator of my company, Cline Services, offering carpet and upholstery cleaning in the Charlotte, NC area, my main objective is personal service to get my customer to call me back again and again. And I keep my prices more than competitive by keeping my overhead low (a home office), using trusted, experienced part time assistants, and buying materials in bulk or special pricing just to name a few. And with twenty years of experience just with my own company, that’s a value you can't put a price on.

And I don’t offer a menu that reads like a book. No tile cleaning, no wood floor cleaning, no flood restoration.

And there’s a phrase I like to use when comparing me to the large companies: When you hire me, you get ME. You’ll know who's coming to your door. Each and every time.

Thanks, Chip Cline.

Do you have house dust mites in your carpet?

That’s a trick question…yes, you do and so does everyone else! Dust mites live off of things like flakes of shed human skin and thus they live where people do.1 The American house dust mite (Dermatophagoides farinae) and its close cousin, the European house dust mite (Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus) is an arachnid (kin to spiders and ticks) and is found throughout homes not only in the US, but throughout the world—and beyond! Traces of house dust mites were even found on the Mir Space Station!2
